About these terms

thegiftees.shop is the website of The Giftees, a small home business run by Deepa Verma in Uttar Pradesh, India. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

How ordering works

  • This website shows our gifts. You cannot place an order or pay on the website.
  • When you tap “Order on WhatsApp” or send a form, WhatsApp opens with your message. Nothing is sent until you tap send.
  • Your order is confirmed only when we confirm it with you on WhatsApp.
  • We may not be able to take every order, for example if we cannot make it by the date you need. We will tell you if so.

Prices

Prices are in Indian rupees (₹). We may change prices on the website at any time. The price we confirm with you on WhatsApp is the price you pay. Where a price is shown struck through, that is our regular price.

Payment, delivery and cancellations

For each order, we agree payment, any delivery charge and the delivery date with you on WhatsApp before you pay. We do not offer returns or refunds. Please see our return and refund policy.

Handmade gifts

Many of our items are made or painted by hand, so colours and patterns will vary from the photos, and no two pieces are exactly the same. Photos show an example of each gift. If an item is not available, we will tell you on WhatsApp before you pay.

Personalised gifts

Please check the spelling of any name or message you give us, as we make personalised items exactly as you send them. We may decline a message that is offensive or unlawful.

Food and safety

Some hampers contain food. Please read the allergen note on each product page and ask us if you are unsure. Never leave a lit candle or diya unattended, and keep them away from children, pets and anything that can catch fire.

Using this website

The photos, logo and text on this website belong to The Giftees. Please do not copy or reuse them without our permission. Do not misuse the website, for example by trying to break it or by copying it automatically.

Other websites

This website links to WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Maps. We are not responsible for those websites.

Our responsibility

We take care to keep the information on this website correct, but mistakes can happen. If we find one, we will correct it. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any indirect loss, and our total responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that apply to an order are the ones on this page on the day we confirm it.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first and we will do our best to put it right. Any dispute that cannot be settled will be handled by the courts in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
